Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Harborlight Wilder Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Portland. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about customer complaints. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
