Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Highbridge Field Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Virginia Beach area, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about water quality. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
