Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Silverline Keystone Arts Center is an arts centre in Portland with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 72 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer programmes. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer programmes. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
