Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Westbrook Wren Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Savannah. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about customer tickets. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Savannah. • We reply to every applicant.
