Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Iron Insurance and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about catastrophe response. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
