Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Northwind Granite Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in San Antonio. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about rent assistance. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with rent assistance. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
