Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Clear Arts Center and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of about 965 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about visitor services. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with visitor services. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
