Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Iron Press and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of about 493 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about customer orders. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
