Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Northwind Rowan Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Wichita area, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about outage reports. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
