Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Cedar Granite Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Wichita. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about meter reading. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
