Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Bluepeak Beacon Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Las Vegas area, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about treatment plant data. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
