Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Lumen Cedar Legal Group is a law firm in Buffalo serving businesses and individuals. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about intake forms. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with intake forms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
