Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Pike Insurance and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about customer complaints. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
