Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Bluepeak Wren Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Tulsa. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about budget submissions. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
