Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Ashton Arts Center and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer programmes. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer programmes. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
