Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Summit Field Press produces print and digital publications in Baltimore, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about press runs. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
