Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Stonegate West Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Cincinnati. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about billing disputes. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with billing disputes. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
