Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Stonegate Junction Housing Group is a nonprofit housing provider in Houston. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about waiting lists. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with waiting lists. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
