Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Stonegate Harbor Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Portland focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about billing accounts. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
