Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Bluepeak Rook Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Reno. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 125 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about policy renewals. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
