Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Harborlight Umber Arts Center Group runs a venue and education programmes in Buffalo, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about visitor services. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
