Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Silverline Loom Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Memphis area. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about family communication. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
