Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Ironwood Quarry Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Buffalo serving households and small businesses, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about loan files. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with loan files. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
