Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Wilder Press and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about customer orders. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
