Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Sable Insurance and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 63 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about underwriting files. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
