Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Summit West Transit Planning is looking for a Content Writer. The job centres on plain-language guides for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about survey data. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
