Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Thistle Insurance Group and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 67 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about premium billing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
