Fernwood Wren Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Spokane working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about accessibility audits. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
