Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Northwind Pine Water Authority Group is a public water utility serving the Milwaukee area. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about meter reading. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
