Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Iron Insurance Group and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of about 926 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about underwriting files. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
