Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Greenridge Mill Arts Center is an arts centre in Raleigh with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer programmes. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer programmes. • Basic SEO knowledge.
