Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Lakeside Transit Planning Group and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of about 643 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about fare systems. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
