Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Northwind West Energy is an energy provider in Cincinnati focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about outage response. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
