Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Highbridge Granite Press Partners is a printer and publisher in Portland serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about proofing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
