Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Northwind Pine Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Providence. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about pipe repairs. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
