Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Westbrook Sparrow Energy is an energy provider in Chicago focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about meter readings. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
