Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Lumen Wilder Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Madison, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about family communication. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
