Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Bright Kestrel Housing Group is a nonprofit housing provider in Austin, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about lease compliance. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with lease compliance. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
