Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Harborlight Union Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Seattle serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about fraud alerts. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
