Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

We are growing our team at Silverline River Water Authority Group and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of about 683 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about billing accounts. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
