Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Lumen Timber Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Cincinnati area. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about enrolment. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
