Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Silverline Fern Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Providence presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about school partnerships. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with school partnerships. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
