Content Writer - plain-language guides (Raleigh, NC)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Pike Water Authority and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about meter reading. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
