Content Writer - plain-language guides (Raleigh, NC)

We are growing our team at Bright Clear Energy and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about service connections. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
