Content Writer - plain-language guides (Raleigh, NC)

Bright Logistics is a Raleigh charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of about 307 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about food distribution. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with food distribution. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
