Content Writer - plain-language guides (Providence, RI)

Cedar Bright Community Partners is a Providence charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Providence. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about client intake. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
