Content Writer - plain-language guides (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Oak Civic Services and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about procurement. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with procurement. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
