Content Writer - plain-language guides (Portland, OR)

Redstone Kestrel Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Portland area. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about student accounts. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with student accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
