Content Writer - plain-language guides (Portland, OR)

Foxglove Willow Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Portland, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about catastrophe response. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
