Content Writer - plain-language guides (Pittsburgh, PA)

Nova Field Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Pittsburgh. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about rent assistance. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with rent assistance. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
